Surrounding Area

Pembrokeshire is full of things to see and do all year round and because of our central location just north of Haverfordwest, nothing is too far away.
Pembrokeshire was recently voted joint 2nd 'Best Coastal Region In The World' by the National Geographic Society, so why not walk the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and see for yourself why! Take a helicopter ride from nearby Haverfordwest Aerodrome, visit the towns of Narberth, Fishguard, Tenby and no trip would be complete without a visit to Britain's smallest city, St Davids. If you fancy a round of golf there are numerous courses just a few miles away.

You could take a stroll along Newgale sandy beach, one of our favourites! Visit the yachting marinas at Neyland and Milford Haven, or even try go karting at a local indoor track just 10 minutes away! There are museums at Haverfordwest, Tenby, Milford Haven and Pembroke Dock Gun Tower and many outdoor events take place througout the year at numerous locations around the county.
There are beautiful castles to explore, delightful villages to have lunch in and boat trips to Ramsay or Skomer Island where you can see the amazing wildlife. Visit Llys-y-Fran Country Park and Reservoir for fishing, cycling and walking or if you're up for it follow the 6.5 mile footpath right the way round the reservoir, and don't
forget your picnic hamper!
Go horse riding at nearby stables, visit Folly Farm and Heatherton Country Sports Park or Scolton Manor and if you are feeling brave enough how about Oakwood Theme Park. If you are looking for something a little less energetic there are galleries, aquariums and the new Torch Theatre in Milford Haven.
In fact, whatever your taste there is something for everyone in Pembrokeshire and if you need further information on any attraction let us know and we will check opening times, prices and how to get there for you.
Happy Exploring!
